Middle Quinton is an exciting vision for a new community based on the most advanced eco-town principles. The proposed location is a brownfield site between Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire and Evesham in Worcestershire.
Middle Quinton would be a close-knit and sustainable community aimed at a zero-carbon footprint, collecting, recycling and reprocessing waste on-site to provide power and energy for community use. All buildings would meet the highest sustainable standards of construction and energy use, combining environmental performance with attractive building design and layout.
In keeping with its eco-credentials, priority would be given to easy walking and cycling access to schools, shops, recreational and medical facilities as well as providing a variety of jobs on site. Much improved transport links including rail and road enhancements would be included as part of the proposals. Thousands of affordable homes and new jobs would add further to its appeal.
